API Error Codes

Error Codes

The following is a collection of the error codes that are displayed by the BNS Blockchain Name API.
The error codes can be placed within 7 categories, which are:

General API Codes

0 = undefinded error
1` = success
10 = no API Key
11 = API Key not valid

12` = API Key suspended
13 = API Key not active

Security API Codes

15 = Blockchain Name offline
16` = write access denied

API Command Codes

20 = no command
21 = command not valid

Command Specific - Error Codes

The following is a collection of the error codes based on an specific API commands.

Command (namelookup)

0 = Blockchain Name is available
1 = Blockchain Name is taken
5 = Blockchain Name is Listed For Sale

Command (listcurrency)

80 = access to command denied

Command (keylookup)

30 = access to command denied
31 = no Blockchain Name
32 = Blockchain Name not valid
33 = Blockchain Name key not found
